Our little lamb turned 6 weeks old Thursday and home 1 whole week Saturday. This week since being home, has been a full on adventure! Lots of nights with little sleep, learning a new (on demand) feeding routine and having at least 1 brady per day, but overall there have mainly been tons of loving snuggles and enjoying being home as a family! Dawson saw his pediatrician for the first time, and we have hit the Doctor lottery with him! He is on top of things and is willing to help us make sure Daws gets the best care possible! We are working on the first Neuro and ENT referrals, which is exciting to get going! We will be needing to keep an eye on his cranial pressure to make sure that he still has room to grow, if the pressure builds up, that’s when they will decide to do the surgery to release his fusions! With the ENT appointment, we are hoping there will be answers regarding his eating difficulties, breathing and brady spells, as well as getting an idea on what may be required in the future with surgery for his facial re-construction. We will be keeping you all updated at least once per week! Thank you for your continued prayers, thoughts and kind messages! We are so blessed with those that have reached out asking how to help, then bringing by meals, ordering needed items, sending groceries, and helping with the older kids... etc! We count our blessings daily! God has been good to us. #apert#apertbaby #apertawareness #apertsyndrome

Sunday, Dawson turned 1 month old!! He weighed 6lb 11oz. For his birthday, they took his feeding tube out and he’s been eating all bottles ever since. 80mls at a time, on demand! I haven’t seen my little lamb in 2 days. I had a Salpingectomy yesterday and am still recovering! Thankfully, Auntie Audrey went up to do some holding for us this evening! ❤️ Today, they decided to go ahead and remove the nasal cannula, and he has held his sats all day! He’s doing so very well! We’re super proud of him! Jayden is here helping us this week and we are so thankful!! Thank you for all your prayers and support! We appreciate it all! God has been good to us!❤️
