Happy 1 week birthday my love! This week has been more ups, than downs! And for that I’m so very grateful!! #blessed 🤱🏼❤️ “Hold on, to me as we go As we roll down this unfamiliar road And although this wave is stringing us along Just know you’re not alone 'Cause I’m going to make this place your home” - Home: Phillips Phillips

As of last night, we can hold Dawson whenever we want, as long as he continues to improve! He’s doing so very well!! He is a snuggler , which of course is just what his momma and daddy need!! Thanks to each of you for your continued prayers, help and words of encouragement!❤️🤱🏼

Not a whole lot to update on at this point, but here is what is going on right now. Dawson is stable, off the ventilator, tolerating a decent amount of milk through his tube, he LOVES when we “hold” him (which is really just a hand cradle at this point), we gave him his first wipe down/bath last night, and today we have been having to watch him close because of many apnea episodes, but a little caffeine and he’s doing some better! He hears mom and dads voice and instantly perks up, and even watches us intently when we’re talking to him! We appreciate all the thoughts and though we may be exhausted, we can feel each and every one of your prayers! ❤️🤱🏼
