Night before surgery….
The night before surgery, and all through our house.
We fit in each snuggle, each giggle and joust!
Every box has been checked, all appointments have been seen.
To each little dread, we feel hopeful…at times serine.
Our lives may be upturned, yet go forward we must.
For this little man, Gods given in Trust.
This syndrome Dawson has, may seem a bit enigmatic,
but Apert has no hold on him, for he’s conquered every battle.
We pray for God to guide each hand, who will be helping him tomorrow.
For in Psalm 46, we find this promise
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble!
Whatever May come our way, one thing I have found true
That when holding on to Him, He’s always been holding onto you.
Praying for our sweet little buddy today, who never fails to bring a smile to our faces and hearts. Praying for his mommy and daddy as well!!🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️ believing Jesus to provide all that is needed; strength, comfort, wisdom, healing, peace!! “Every day the Lord Himself is near me, With a special mercy for each hour; All my cares He fain (gladly) would bear and cheer me, He whose name is Counsellor and Pow’r. The protection of His child and treasure Is a charge that on Himself He laid; “As thy days, thy strength shall be in measure,” This the pledge to me He made”.
